Our mission statement

NexusMed was founded with the purpose of improving the accessibility and quality of healthcare in the UK.

It was originally developed as an affordable way to access treatment online. After building in-house technology and conducting a pilot though, we realised our connected clinical and pharmacy platform could benefit other businesses too.

Since then we have focused on building the platform for private providers. But NexusMed has its roots in consumer healthcare, and still believes in the founding objective of improving patient options.

We can divide this objective into 4 different strategies:

1. Reducing the workload on care teams.

Administrative and clinical processes should be improved and automated when safe to do so.

2. Equipping patients and care teams with control and insight.

We envision a future with better health data utilisation and virtual care that is proactive and continuous.

3. Enabling desirable and convenient experiences.

This means giving providers and patients a modern collection of software experiences.

4. Facilitating collaboration.

Outside of the public sector, there are fewer ways to integrate between different systems. This has held back innovations in technology improvements.
